How Ask AI gets its answers
Ask AI looks up the figures in a private copy of your orders, so the amounts in an answer match the amounts in your report. Your private copy holds each order’s app, restaurant, date, amount, items, fees, taxes, tips and discounts. For a question your orders can’t answer, such as the current price of Swiggy One, Ask AI can search the web, and you can turn web search off.
What Ask AI sends, and to whom
Ask AI uses Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic. Before your first question, DineProfile shows you what Ask AI sends to Anthropic and asks you to agree.
- Each question goes to Anthropic with the earlier questions and answers in that chat and a summary of your orders.
- The summary includes restaurant names, dish names, amounts and dates.
- Your mobile number and your sign-ins to the delivery apps are never sent.
Credits
DineProfile Plus includes Ask AI credits every month. Each answer uses credits according to what that answer cost to produce, and the Ask AI screen shows how many credits each answer used. A question that gets no answer uses no credits. When your credits run out, you can buy more.
