Is Swiggy One or Zomato Gold worth it for you?

Updated

Swiggy One or Zomato Gold is worth paying for when the discounts and free deliveries on your own orders add up to more than the membership costs. DineProfile reads every Swiggy and Zomato receipt back to your oldest order and adds up what your receipts show you saved: member discounts, free delivery and other fees the app waived. Put that total next to what you paid for the membership, and you have your answer.

How to work out whether a membership pays for itself

  1. Find what you paid for the membership. A membership bought along with an order shows on your DineProfile report as a Memberships line. If you bought the membership on its own, check the price in the app or in your payment history.
  2. Add up what the membership saved you over the same months: member discounts and free deliveries.
  3. Compare the two. If the savings are bigger than the price, the membership paid for itself.

For example, a membership that costs ₹300 for three months and saves you ₹40 an order pays for itself after 8 orders in those three months.

Questions

How much have I saved with Swiggy One?

Connect Swiggy to DineProfile. Your report shows the membership discounts on every Swiggy receipt as their own line, next to the free deliveries and waived fees on those receipts.

How much have I saved with Zomato Gold?

Connect Zomato to DineProfile. Your report shows the membership discounts on every Zomato receipt as their own line, next to the free deliveries and waived fees on those receipts.

Does the report count coupons as membership savings?

No. Coupons, restaurant offers and app offers each have their own line, so the membership savings show only what the membership itself took off.
