DineProfile is a spending calculator for Swiggy, Zomato, Zepto, Blinkit and Instamart that works in your phone’s browser. You connect each app with the code the app texts you, and DineProfile adds up every order you’ve placed back to your oldest order. You don’t need a computer, a browser extension or a spreadsheet, and the total comes from your real orders.
How DineProfile compares with other ways to work out your spending
Estimate calculators ask for your average order amount and how many times you order a month, then multiply the two numbers. The answer is only as good as your guess, and the answer leaves out fees, taxes and tips.
Spending calculator extensions run in Chrome on a computer and read the orders page on each app’s website. Chrome on Android phones and iPhones doesn’t run extensions, and most extensions cover only some of the five apps. Zomato’s website no longer lists your orders, so extensions can’t add up your Zomato orders.
Adding up orders by hand means opening every order in every app and keeping a running total. Adding up by hand is free, and the work takes hours once you’ve ordered a few hundred times.
