None of Zepto, Blinkit and Instamart is cheapest for every basket, because item prices, fees and offers change by item, city and time, and each app has changed its fees several times since 2024. Which app costs you more depends on your own orders. DineProfile reads every order you’ve placed on all three apps back to your oldest order and shows each app’s total side by side, with the number of orders on each app, the fees you paid and your delivery times.

How the three apps compare
- Size. Blinkit handled 331 million orders from April to June 2026, with 31.8 million monthly transacting customers and a net average order of ₹518, according to Eternal’s results for that quarter. Instamart handled 114.5 million orders in the same quarter, with 13.5 million monthly transacting customers and an average order of ₹691 at MRP, or ₹508 after discounts, according to Swiggy’s shareholder letter.
- Fees. Each app charges its own delivery, handling, small-cart and late-night fees, and the apps have raised and dropped fees at different times. The grocery fees guide lists what each app charged and when.
- Memberships. Swiggy One covers Instamart in the Swiggy app and in the Instamart app. Zepto launched an invite-only Zepto Club membership in July 2026, Storyboard18 reported.
- Prices on different phones. In a MediaNama comparison of 13 items in three cities, from December 2024 to January 2025, Zepto and Blinkit were mostly cheaper on an Android phone than on an iPhone, and Instamart’s results were mixed.
